220 SE 6th St Cape Coral, Florida
This auction foreclosure home was by far the most challenging home to acquire to date. After winning over seven different online auctions with the seller refusing to accept our highest bid, on the 8th try three months later, we finally secured the home. What is crazy is the fact we got it for about $5,000 less than our initial highest bid, you have to love “bank logic.” This house was a disaster with an overgrown jungle outside and a complete gutted mess inside. The layout was similar to other reno’s we have done so we knew we could open it up and transform it into a show stopper. Outside we spent almost $4,000 cleaning up, removing trees and installing all new landscaping. We installed a New Garage Door and went with our neutral paint palette. Inside we pushed back the old pantry wall, completely re-designed the Kitchen almost doubling the number of cabinets including a Custom free-standing pantry and wine bar area, we doubled the size of the master bath allowing for dual sinks and still a large walk-in shower, the guest bath was a complete gut and re-do. Literally, every square inch was renovated including the removal of the dated river rock on the pool deck, the pool surface, tiles, etc. This one was not easy and required a lot of assessment throughout the process to make sure our decisions were the right ones but in the end, it exceeding our own expectations. No Nonsense, Just Quality Renovations!!
